Senior professionals regularly deal with complex problems, incomplete information and decisions where there is rarely one obvious answer. The ability to question assumptions, frame problems correctly and approach challenges in a structured and rigorous way can make a significant difference.
The Executive Research Accelerator (ERA) is designed to bring doctoral-level thinking into the professional environment. It is the first phase of the DoctorateHub | GSBM Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA), but does not require participants to commit to the full doctorate.

Instead, the ERA offers experienced professionals an opportunity to experience doctoral-level learning, apply it directly to real questions and challenges from their professional context, and decide whether progressing towards the DBA is right for them.
The first ERA/DBA module, Advanced Problem-Solving, focuses on identifying and framing complex problems, challenging assumptions and examining professional challenges from new perspectives. Rather than learning theory in isolation, participants connect their learning directly to situations they encounter in their professional lives, developing a more rigorous approach to analysis and decision-making.
Upon successful completion of Module 1, participants receive a Record of Advanced Problem-Solving, recognising the doctoral-level learning outcomes achieved.
