Education Minister, Owen Bonnici, announced the appointment of a new Chairperson for the Foundation for Educational Services.
Through a tweet, the Minister shared the appointed of Pamela Schembri as the new Chairperson, who will take the reins from Elena Borg.
Minister Bonnici wrote, “I congratulate Pamela Schembri for her appointment as the new Chairperson of the Foundation for Educational Services. I am confident that her expertise in education will be an asset to the entity. I thank outgoing Chairperson Elena Borg for her input during her tenure.”
Ms Schembri retweeted the announcement, adding “Honoured to have been appointed. Thanks goes to @OwenBonnici for the trust bestowed. I promise to do my best”
The Foundation for Educational Services is a public entity within the Ministry for Education and Employment, and works concurrently with the Education Directorates to provide a range of educational initiatives to meet the needs of the community.
