Marco Galea, Managing Director at Oxford House, has announced a major rebranding at the company, bringing its products further in line with its “passion and commitment to helping [customers] create the home and workspace of their dreams”.

Taking to social media to unveil the rebranding, Mr Galea reflected that the company has helped generations of Maltese families choose appliances and furniture to “transmit beauty, modern luxury and comfort”.

“Our customers are at the heart of everything we do”, he stated, and reflected that, as a family-owned business, Oxford House has always been proud of its “Maltese heritage, our culture and beauty of our island”.

Oxford House is a long-standing Maltese Company, with a rich history going back to 1928, when Mr Galea’s great grandmother Rosaria Galea opened a haberdashery shop in Valletta.

Later succeeded by her son, Francesco, he diversified the business into the manufacture and repair of tubular steel pushchairs and prams, before later expansion led to the first tubular steel furniture manufacturing in Malta.

In 1960, the company’s premises were expanded into one of the very first factories at the Mriehel Industrial Estate.

It now deals exclusively with international flagship brands, with a team of sixty employees focusing on importation, distribution and support.
