Superintendent for Public Health Charmaine Gauci has now repeatedly said that complete normality will not be attained until a vaccine is available which is likely to take time.

With this in mind, businesses such as Beauty Inc are adapting and making preparations in order to safeguard the business, workers and clients.

A representative for the salon shared that a company was engaged to design a standardized size for Beauty Inc, but that the sheets of Perspex can also be made to measure and are easy to install for all nail techs.

In addition to the Perspex, a number of measures are to be implemented providing further protection:

Clients and nail-techs will remove all jewellery, watches and necklaces; Clients must wash hands well and sanitise properly; No phones will be allowed while a session is ongoing; Masks to be worn; A clean set of tools will be used for each client; A new nail-file will be used for each client; Punctuality to be enforced more strictly to avoid clients in the waiting area; Clients are to be given a list of the rules to read and sign
