Experienced human resources (HR) and management professional Nadia Walker on Monday announced that she has been promoted to Executive Personal Assistant (PA) to the CEO at Bank of Valletta plc (BOV).
As a result, she will be working closely with new CEO Kenneth Farrugia, who who was given regulatory approval to begin the new role last week.
Prior to her new role, Ms Walker served as PA to the Chief Business Development – Investments at the bank for almost six years. Additionally, she also worked as PA to the Chief Business Development Officer and as HR and Training Generalist Senior Associate at BOV’s fund administrating subsidiary BOV Fund Services Limited for over seven years.
Her experience also includes nine years in the hospitality industry as Front Office Supervisor and Reservations at Hilton Malta.
Among Ms Walker’s qualifications, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Work and Human Resources from University of Malta, as well as diplomas in Sales and Marketing, and in PA, Executive and Administration, both from College of Cambridge through Future Focus Malta Limited.
