A subsidiary company of Malta-based industrial logistics firm Medserv has been awarded a new contract in Suriname.
The company announced that Medserv International Ltd has entered into a new framework agreement for the provision of marine agency services in Suriname, with a leading international engineering and drilling contractor operating in the South American country.
The agreement will run until 15th December 2029 and is expected to generate multimillion US dollar revenues over its term, subject to work orders to be issued from time to time under the framework agreement.
“This agreement further strengthens the group’s footprint in Suriname and the wider Caribbean region, supporting its strategy to grow its integrated logistics and marine services offering in established and emerging energy hubs,” the company said.
This is the second major contract that Medserv has been awarded in Suriname, having previously been granted a shore base contract valued at $30.6 million in 2019.
