Marina di Valletta has welcomed its ‘longest yacht so far’, the Feadship superyacht named Drizzle.

The 91.8-metre superyacht departed from the shipyard's facilities in Amsterdam on 13th June.

Designed by Dutch studio Sinot and the owner’s associated design office, Drizzle was built for a repeat Feadship owner, who approached the project with “informed requests based on his extensive yachting experience.”

Feadship was established in 1949 as a marketing partnership between six Dutch shipyards: de Vries Lentch, Van de Stadt, Witsen & Vism Akerboom, DE Vries Scheepsbouw and Van Lent Shipyard, as well as De Voogt Naval Architects.

It stands as an acronym for First Export Association of Dutch Shipbuilders and while its original goal was to market superyachts to American buyers, it now operates four shipyards in the Netherlands.

Drizzle features a modern-classic style with naval architecture by Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects. It also carries full hybrid electric class notation.

Its interior is designed to reflect a family home with natural materials and finishes.

Among many other features, it includes a side-loading garage with room for two 10-metre tenders, a ski-boat and various water toys.
