Anthony Galea has left Vistra Group after eight years as Managing Director of its Marine and Aviation segment, he announced on Friday.

He noted that this move marked a “great chapter” of his life, after a period which he described as “a great adventure” and a “successful eight-year spell with so many memories, colleagues, clients, contacts and friends.”

“Wow, looking back it seems we built a huge heritage together,” he said.

“As I bid farewell to Vistra and wish them well, I am happy that we will continue our collaboration in the next foreseeable future in the interest of our clients and ensure continuity for them and their projects,” Dr Galea remarked.

He had joined Vistra Group in 2015, following its acquisition of DF Marine Consultancy Limited, a company he had led and been Director of for nine years. Over the years, the team became a key part of the management and ongoing development of Vistra Group’s marine and aviation services.

Dr Galea added that he will start “building a new chapter” in his career and will be starting a new practice this week, firstly by taking part in Boot in Dusseldorf, one of the largest marine events in the world.

Many expressed gratitude for his work over the years, wishing him the best of luck in his new endeavours. He replied by thanking them for their wishes, support, and encouragement.

Dr Galea holds a Doctor of Laws from University of Malta, and is vastly experienced in the areas of yachting and business aviation, having assisted a number of companies and clients through consultancy and corporate structuring services. Additionally, he is also passionate about sports and audiovisuals, and is presently President of the Malta Football Players Association.
