Malta-based private aviation company JetHouse has applied for a US Foreign Air Carrier Permit (FACP) and an exemption to launch charter flights between the United States (US) and the European Union.

An FACP is required for foreign carriers, in this case JetHouse, to operate commercial services to and from the US.

The permit would grant “economic authority” which would subsequently allow applicants to carry passengers and cargo. An exemption would be granted to allow JetHouse to operate while the permit is still in process.

JetHouse obtained its Maltese Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) in February 2024 and launched its operations with one aircraft, the Falcon 7X 9H-NEAH, with plans to expand its fleet.  This aircraft has a capacity of 15 passengers and was previously operated by Cat Aviation.

So far, the aircraft  has been used for flights within Europe and once to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

The company was founded by three Belgian aviation veterans. Hervé Laitat is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Nicolas Willemot is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Tina Boeckx is the Nominated Person for Flight Operations (NPFO) and the Nominated Person for Crew Training (NPFO).
