Under his leadership, the arts lobby continued, members will focus on policy and funding, best practices and industry standards, collaboration and innovation, professional development and training, contracts, and the work of production companies and venues.
“MEIA believes Malcolm’s experience, leadership, and deep knowledge of Malta’s theatre sector make him an excellent addition as Chair. His guidance is expected to strengthen opportunities for local theatre artists and elevate Malta’s theatre scene both nationally and internationally.”
As Chair, Mr Galea will continue to advocate for theatre professionals, support artistic development, and reinforce MEIA’s representation of the theatre sector within Malta’s broader cultural landscape.
