Since its establishment in 2013, A Plus Solutions has focused on offering advisory and business consulting support, as well as providing cultural and educational opportunities to foreign nationals seeking to make Malta their base.
Now, the boutique company is moving towards another stage in its evolution, with its founder, Merve Cungar, geared towards delivering access to cultural and tourism events that include RUMI dance workshops, as well as travel breaks focused on mindfulness, stress relief, and emotional catharsis. This approach, Ms Cungar says, has been forged by the firm’s “belief in holistic development,” allowing the firm “to support clients with a full 360° solution,” she insists.
“A Plus Solutions will always grow with one guiding principle: to make every client feel supported, understood, and empowered to create their best future,” Ms Cungar smiles, explaining that the business is in the process of expanding its academic and cultural programs, deepening its presence in international markets and developing “more personalised relocation and investment solutions” with the goal of supporting “the full journey of families and entrepreneurs.”
Ms Cungar’s drive is guided by what she sees as the gaps in cross-border collaboration, and her understanding of the opportunities fostered by connecting stakeholders across Europe as well as the Middle East and North African (MENA) region. Indeed, the company currently operates in Malta, as well as Turkey, MENA, and the UAE, with expansion plans for a presence in the Gulf and a further strengthening of collaborations within North African markets.
“A Plus Solutions began as a niche consulting service supporting investors from Turkey and the wider MENA region entering Malta and Europe,” she recalls. “When I moved to Malta [from Turkey], I saw that many clients struggled with fragmented information, unreliable guidance, and a lack of culturally aware support when trying to enter new markets or relocate their lives. We built A Plus Solutions to fill this gap: a trust-based, personalised, and culturally fluent advisory service that guides clients through trade development, residency, and citizenship planning, and academic consultancy with a human touch. Our role is to simplify complex processes and open doors to new markets through our strong international network,” she explains.

The island’s geographical position has been central to the success accrued by A Plus Solutions. “Malta is uniquely positioned as a bridge between Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Its stable economy, EU membership, business-friendly environment, English-speaking workforce, and safe lifestyle make it attractive for investors and families alike. For many of our clients, Malta offers a balanced combination of opportunity, safety, and cultural harmony, making it an ideal base for global expansion,” she says.
Notably, over the years, the firm has added “residency and citizenship advisory, academic consultancy, and specialised business organisations such as holistic and culture tours, retreats and B2B conferences” to their line-up of services.
“We combine expert knowledge with deep cultural sensitivity, which is rare in our sector. Many firms offer information; we offer personal guidance, emotional understanding, and long-term support. We also ensure that every client receives direct attention, transparency, and ongoing follow-up. We understand the emotional and practical challenges behind relocation, investment, or building a new life abroad. Our clients trust us because we don’t only manage paperwork; we provide solutions, clarity, and peace of mind,” she emphasises.
To this end, A Plus Solutions has also evolved with the changing times. “We have focused on the digitisation of consulting services, allowing clients to receive personalised guidance remotely; we have also expanded our academic consultancy, supporting families with international schools, university placements, and mobility planning; we have also insisted upon greater cultural integration support, recognising that relocation is not only paperwork but also emotional adaptation,” she notes.
Central these changes – and to the next phase in the history of A Plus Solutions – is the provision of RUMI dance workshops to those seeking wellness opportunities, amidst the frenetic pace of everyday life and the upheavals concomitant with relocation.
“Dance is part of my personal journey and philosophy. I believe that movement, expression, and creativity bring balance into life, especially for families and individuals going through transition. By integrating cultural and creative programmes, we support clients not only professionally but also emotionally. Dance helps build community, reduce stress, and create connection. These are values that align perfectly with A Plus Solutions’ vision of holistic well-being. Furthermore, workshops do not just contain RUMI Dance, but we are also in the process of preparing Holistic Retreats and Cultural Tours, which we will be organising over the next few months,” she says.
Looking ahead, Ms Cungar highlights a next stage in economic and technological development which, she says, will impact the business: next-generation service robots. "From restaurants and hotels to casinos, shopping malls, hospitals, factories, and event venues, many industries today are required to deliver speed, hygiene, efficiency, and service continuity simultaneously. As a natural response to these demands, next-generation service robots are no longer a futuristic concept – they have become active, field-proven solutions integrated into daily operations," she explains. To this end, "robot rental and purchase models are now structured to meet the operational needs of different sectors, offering accessible, deployable solutions designed for direct use in real-world environments" – a reality A Plus Solutions is keen to capitalise on.
Indeed, with these shifts, the goal, she continues, is to “to remain a trusted, boutique advisor in a world becoming increasingly complex.” Indeed, “because our company is built on relationships, not volume, I work closely with every client and maintain a hands-on, personalised approach. Our team manages few clients at a time in order to maintain quality, and we prioritise honesty, clarity, and emotional care throughout the process. A boutique service for us means: You are not a number – you are a person with a story, a dream, and a destination,” she insists, concluding.
