OZO Group, a group of companies that specialises in the outsourcing and services industries, is closely monitoring developments in the Middle East as tensions continue to affect the region, with the company confirming that precautionary measures are in place to safeguard its employees in Doha.
Speaking to WhosWho.mt, CEO Fabio Muscat said the group is maintaining close coordination with its local partners and clients in Qatar to ensure the safety of its staff.
Mr Muscat added that the company is tracking the situation closely and has already prepared contingency plans should the situation deteriorate.
Despite the ongoing tensions, Mr Muscat said OZO Group’s operations in the country continue to function normally, particularly in services provided to hospitality clients.
He also thanked employees for maintaining operations during the uncertain period. “We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to our employees who, despite the current situation, continue to give their utmost to ensure that our services to our hospitality clients remain unaffected.”
Mr Muscat also expressed gratitude to Malta’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs for its support.
OZO Group opened its Doha branch in 2023, marking the company’s first venture in the Middle East as part of its broader international expansion strategy. Named Valletta Hospitality Services, the Doha branch specialises in outsourcing personnel for the hospitality and tourism sectors, providing trained staff for hotels, restaurants, and events.
“We sincerely hope to see a swift end to the current situation. Our thoughts and prayers are with Qatar and its neighbouring countries during this time,” Mr Muscat concluded.
