As many companies struggle to hold onto their staff while experiencing unprecedented financial challenges, one company is growing its staff complement by 50 people following an increased demand for its products.

Metallform Malta, which has been in operation since 1992 and is based in Birzebbuga, produces specialised medical equipment for paediatric and oncology patients. It exports its products to several countries, including Germany and Austria.

Currently with a staff complement of 310, the company will be employing an additional 50 people following an increase in demand for its products.

Between 2014 and 2015, Metallform Malta invested €3.2million in its infrastructure, coming a long way since its humble beginnings in 1992.
