The popular Twistees Facebook Page stirred up excitement on Monday (yesterday) with the announcement of a new Sweet Paprika flavour, sending waves of anticipation across social media.

As always, when a new flavour hits the shelves, fans of Malta’s beloved snack flocked online, eager to discover where they could get their hands on the latest taste sensation.

However, the comments section quickly revealed a different story – one of frustration.

Many shoppers vented their disappointment at being unable to find the new flavours in stores. While Sweet Paprika is the latest addition, there was a particularly high demand for the Chicken and Blue Cheese flavours, with the latter seemingly winning over those lucky enough to try it.

The Twistees website does allow for online purchases of the snack, but the only flavours available are the classics – Cheese, Reduced in fat and salt, Sour Cream & Onion and Smokey Barbeque.

So while some are raving about the new Sweet Paprika, it looks like the hunt for the limited-edition flavours like Chicken and Blue Cheese is still on.
