On Friday, Maltese executive Julian Borg-Barthet announced that he is taking on the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Playnetic at Marbella, Spain.

“After 13 years in the beautiful North of Wales, in the UK, I am now saying goodbye to the friends and life I have made over these years. [Now] I’m saying hello to the Costa del Sol as I uproot my family, kicking and screaming, to the sunny beaches of Marbella,” he commented on LinkedIn.

He remarks that he is looking forward to joining the iGaming community and starting his new life “in the sun”, 

For more than a year and a half, Mr Borg-Barthet had worked as CCO at Stockholm-based Lady Luck Games.

Playnetic is a new “player” in the world of gaming entertainment. Its mission is to create thrilling innovative gaming content that is centred around its core values of quality gaming, dedicated customer service and reliable delivery to its partners. Its launch will take place in 2024.

“Everyone I already know from Malaga, down to Gibraltar, has already been fantastic help and supporter of my move, and I hope their encouragement and love for the area is everything I can live up to,” he concluded.
