Doing their bit to support Wave of Change – a local organisation that was started by Maltese swimming and environmental enthusiasts Neil Agius, Gilbert Bartolo and Richard Zerafa – teams from local companies JL Cleaning and JL Properties have organised a clean-up with the aim of collecting 50 bags of plastic waste.

Posting to social media, Managing Director Jean-Luc Micallef wrote “On this day I am proud and happy to announce that Jl cleaning, JL properties and friends have merged together to participate and support a great cause #waveofchange.”

“Needless to say we will be supporting this phenomenal human being, who I'm proud to call my friend Neil Agius. Our target for today is to fill up 50 big garbage bags of plastic and we are happy to do our part,” he continued.

According to the organisers, the Wave of Change is “our way of empowering people to take action through extraordinary challenges we take on. We want to motivate people to be a hero in their everyday life especially to themselves.”
