The JA Malta Foundation has been recognised as a Model Nation by JA Europe for the second time.
This recognition underscores the foundation’s role in fostering youth development and its continued efforts to equip young individuals with the skills needed to thrive in a global economy.
In a public announcement, JA Malta credited the accolade to the collective efforts of its team, partners, and participants. The foundation expressed its appreciation for the educators and alumni who have been instrumental in running its programmes, as well as the students and their families for their trust and engagement.
JA Malta said that “this achievement is a testament to the incredible teamwork, dedication, and passion of everyone involved in our mission to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.”
JA Malta also highlighted the contribution of a Member of the European Parliament, Thomas Bajada, who attended the award ceremony. The foundation described him as an example of successful youth leadership, noting that his presence served as an inspiration to all attendees.
The JA Malta team, under the leadership of Matthew Caruana and Rachel Cassar, was commended for its efforts in achieving record growth and implementing new programmes tailored to the needs of young people in Malta.
