A new bingo hall with a capacity of over 200 seats is set to open in Victoria, Gozo, marking what is being described as the first purpose-built venue of its kind on the island.

The IZIBINGO hall will officially open its doors on Sunday 5th April, introducing a dedicated space for bingo sessions in Gozo and expanding the island’s land-based gaming offering.

Located adjacent to the Rabat bus terminus, the venue has been designed to combine traditional bingo with modern facilities, with multiple daily sessions planned throughout the week. Players will have access to regular games, varying prize pools and themed sessions aimed at maintaining consistent activity at the hall.

Bingo has long been part of the local social fabric but has not previously been hosted in a dedicated, purpose-built environment. The new hall is expected to provide a structured setting for regular players while also serving as a social meeting point.

Opening day will feature a special programme starting at 3pm, including doubled prizes across all games and a guaranteed jackpot of €3,000. Additional promotional activity will see the first 250 players purchasing a full ticket pack receive a complimentary figolla.

Following its launch, the hall will operate on a weekly schedule, with Friday morning sessions, weekday evening games and weekend programmes offering guaranteed prizes of €2,000.

The introduction of the IZIBINGO hall adds a new entertainment option in Gozo, blending a long-standing community pastime with a more formalised venue and structured programming.
