Ingrid Fagundes has been promoted to Senior Manager at PwC Malta, marking another milestone in a career that has spanned more than five years with the professional services firm.

Announcing the news on LinkedIn, Ms Fagundes reflected on her journey from Brazil to Malta seven years ago, describing the move as one that required her to "start over" in a new culture, navigate a different language, and rethink her way of life.

"It hasn't been the easiest road, but stepping into a new environment also gave me a unique perspective; it taught me to look at challenges through the opportunity lens, question the status quo, and constantly bring fresh ideas to the table," she wrote.

Looking back on her journey, she said she is "incredibly proud of the resilience and courage it took to find my voice, and turn those new perspectives into impactful results."

Ms Fagundes joined PwC Malta more than five years ago and has held a number of positions within the organisation, including Senior Associate, Digital Learning Manager and Learning Consulting Manager, among other roles. Throughout her tenure, she has contributed to the firm's learning, development and digital transformation initiatives.

Commenting on her promotion, she expressed gratitude to the colleagues and leaders who supported her throughout her career.

"While this achievement took a lot of hard work, I didn't get here alone. I am deeply grateful for the leaders, colleagues and my team, who didn't just welcome my ideas, but trusted them, championed them, and worked alongside me to bring them to life. Having the right people by my side made all the difference," she said.

As she embarks on her new role, Ms Fagundes said she is looking forward to continuing to drive meaningful change, foster innovation and empower others to think differently.

"To anyone out there striving in a new place or pushing for new ideas: keep bringing your authentic perspective to the table. The journey isn't easy, but your unique voice is exactly what's needed," she concluded.
