Malta-based international retailer and distributor Hudson Holdings Group has announced the opening of its latest project, a Nike store in Rabat, capital of Morocco.

The Group took to LinkedIn to celebrate the opening, saying it is “delighted” with the development of the 330 sqm space dedicated to Nike products.

“Delighted to open yet another great Nike store. This time in Rabat, Morocco.

"Spread over 330m², this new store showcases the latest from the world’s best sports brand in the areas of Lifestyle, Training, Running and Yoga for women.”

It continued: “Well done to our colleagues in Morocco and we are thrilled to welcome our customers to this store!"

The Group has been busy over the last year, with the unveiling in April of a €3.5 million distribution centre in Ħal Far, which is receiving products from across Asia and Europe for distribution to over 20 countries in Africa.

It also made plans to take over Trilogy Ltd, the Maltese representative for some of the world's top brands including Armani Exchange, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein Jeans and Mango.

The Group’s head office is located in Malta but is also present through offices in Italy, Spain, Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria. Though Hudson Holdings was founded in 2006, the Group’s roots reach as far back as 1987 when the first pair of Nike was sold in Malta.
