Charlotte Cilia has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of HSBC Bank Malta, subject to regulatory approval.

A certified public accountant and auditor, Ms Cilia has 20 years of varied experience across audit and banking finance, re-joining the Bank in 2018 as Chief Accounting Officer and Deputy Chief Financial Officer.

Previously an auditor at KPMG in Malta and the UK, Ms Cilia performed key roles on various international engagements, and served as Deputy Chief Financial Officer at MeDirect Group for four years until 2018.

She will be replacing Emma Nuttall, who will be taking up another senior finance position within HSBC Group.
