Hi Fly Malta, the Maltese subsidiary of wet lease company Hi Fly, has put one of its Airbus A330-200 aircraft up for sale.

The aircraft, manufactured in 1998, features two General Electric CF6-80E1A4/B engines with no attached lease.

According to a sale notice received by ch-aviation, the Malta-based company is welcoming proposals for the aircraft’s airframe only or the engines only, as well as for the entire aircraft.

The delivery date for the aircraft is scheduled to be for November this year.

The aircraft, which has a manufacturer’s serial number of 211, has a Maltese registration of 9H-TQP.

It has 298 seats, currently configured as 31 business class seats and 267 economy class seats. When full, the aircraft can cover a maximum range of 10,100 kilometres.

Flight tracker data from flightradar24.com shows that the aircraft is currently being used by Royal Air Maroc for flights between Morocco and Saudi Arabia.

Hi Fly Malta commenced operations in 2013 with one Airbus A340-600. The company has no scheduled destinations, as its planes operate on a charter and aircraft lease basis. Including the one up for sale, the company had a total of 11 aircraft in its fleet as of May 2024. These include Airbus A319-100, Airbus A330-200, Airbus A330-300, and Airbus A340-300.
