CPHCL Company Limited has acquired Greenscapes, a garden centre and landscaping facility located in Attard, as part of its strategy to establish a professional landscaping arm within the group.
The site, which spans approximately 4,400 square metres, will serve as the operational hub for the group’s landscaping activities. It is expected to support both Corinthia-related projects and services offered to third-party clients.
CPHCL, originally established in 1966 as the holding company of the Corinthia Group, has developed a diversified portfolio across property, hospitality, and services. The acquisition forms part of its broader efforts to expand and consolidate its operations.
Commenting on the move, CEO Jean-Pierre Schembri said the investment reflects the group’s focus on diversification and operational excellence, noting that landscaping has long been an integral element of its property presentation.
The facility is set to undergo refurbishment and rebranding, aligning with plans to introduce the Palace Garden Centre. The centre is expected to offer a range of garden-related products, including plants, trees, equipment, and outdoor furniture.
Krystle Ellul, who has been appointed General Manager, will oversee the day-to-day operations. She stated that the aim is to develop a facility that combines professional landscaping services with a high-quality garden centre catering to both private and commercial clients.
The site will also host Palace Landscaping, the group’s landscaping services arm, which will focus on landscape design, maintenance, irrigation systems, and sustainable green solutions. While continuing to service Corinthia Group properties, the unit will also target third-party clients.
