Francesca Grech Busuttil has been promoted to Deputy Head – Listed Entities at the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA), following more than eight years with the financial regulator.
Announcing the appointment on LinkedIn, Ms Grech Busuttil said she was looking forward to taking on the new challenge and continuing her professional development.
Ms Grech Busuttil moves into the role after serving as Senior Manager – Capital Markets (Listed Entities) since February 2024.
She joined the MFSA in August 2018 as an Analyst – Securities and Markets, before progressing to Senior Analyst – Capital Markets (Market Oversight) in 2021. In July 2023, she was appointed Senior Manager – Capital Markets (Market Oversight & Infrastructures), a position she held until February 2024.
Ms Grech Busuttil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Financial Services.
