Dubai-based Master Field Consultancy (MFC) in June 2021 appointed David Galea to the role of Managing Director.

MFC is a boutique, multi-disciplinary, special projects consultancy firm specialising in the maritime and energy industries.

Speaking of his appointment on social media, Dr Galea said:

“The opportunity to lead a business, set out of the practice of law and do something ‘new’ (although not so new either) is one I am really enjoying and grasping with both hands. We grow when we are outside our comfort zone, and I look forward to continuing to grow together with my colleagues and our friends.”

Prior to his appointment, Dr Galea was engaged as Vice President – Legal at the International Maritime Industries (IMI), described as “the largest maritime yard in the MENA region with global ambitions and reach, offering advanced, sustainable services and driving the development of Saudi Arabia’s maritime industry”.

Among other roles, he was also engaged as Head of Legal and company secretary at Dubai-based Drydocks World LLC.
