Valletta hotel Domus Zamittello has bid farewell to former General Manager Fabien Vella and welcomed Christian Fenech as his successor.

The company announced the shift in leadership on social media and reflected that Mr Vella has been at the company since it first opened its doors in February 2018.

During his time there, he led the hotel through “numerous successes,” bringing it to rank as the number one hotel in Travellers Choice, for a hotel in Malta cross multiple platforms.

“We thank Fabien for his leadership, passion and commitment to Domus Zamittello over the last few years and wish him the best of luck on his new venture,” the company said.

His departure leaves Mr Fenech to take the reins at the company, and the hotel reflected that his experience spans various departments across some of Malta’s leading five star hotels, growing a “passion to deliver great guest experiences.”

Domus Zamittello is a 17th century restored palazzo located on Republic Street, Valletta, offering luxurious accommodation in elegantly designed classical rooms.
