Corinthia Palace is launching a new cultural programme, Palace Concerts, marking a shift towards curated live music experiences within the hotel’s historic setting.

The series opens on 29th March 2026 (Palm Sunday) with From Darkness to Light, an evening performance held at Villa Corinthia. The concept builds on the group’s international format, already established through its concert series in Corinthia Hotel Brussels, and is now being adapted for a Maltese audience.

Curated by violinist Sarah Spiteri, the inaugural programme follows a thematic arc aligned with the liturgical calendar, moving from the introspection of Lent to the celebratory tone of Easter.

The concert is structured in two parts. The first focuses on themes of reflection and human fragility, with works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johann Sebastian Bach, Edward Elgar and Ennio Morricone. The second shifts towards renewal and optimism, culminating in selections from George Frideric Handel’s Messiah.

The performance brings together a mixed ensemble of Malta-based and international musicians, including a string section, trumpet and a four-part vocal arrangement.

Following the concert, guests will attend a reception curated by Francesco Mazzei, with a 90-minute open bar and a selection of food and wines, positioning the evening as both a cultural and social experience.

With this, Corinthia Palace is expanding its programming to introduce a recurring platform for live performance that draws on the property’s heritage while targeting a more experience-driven audience.
