Patrick Spiteri Staines on Wednesday announced that he has been appointed Head of Sustainability at hospitality company Corinthia Hotels Limited.

He is a registered energy auditor within the Malta Resources Authority and a registered building energy assessor, specialising in sustainable energy, energy efficiency, and renewable energy. Mr Spiteri Staines is also authorised to issue energy performance certificates for dwellings according to the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, issued by the EU in 2018.

Prior to his new role, he served as Director at commercial and industrial equipment provider T4B Services Ltd for 14 years, as well as Business Development Consultant at Attard & Co. Industrial Ltd for more than 28 years. Additionally, his experience also includes three years as Engineering Sales Manager at Masco Security Services Ltd.

Mr Spiteri Staines graduated from University of Malta with a Masters in Sustainable Energy and a Bachelor Electrical Engineering, and is a professional warranted engineer, both locally and in Europe.
