Patrick Spiteri Staines chose to study the economic feasibility of solar cooling technologies in comparison with high efficiency air conditioning, supported and/or compensated by photovoltaic energy generation, when doing his dissertation for a Master’s in Sustainable Energy.

He is authorised to provide energy audits to companies and also to issue energy performance certificates for dwellings according to the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, issued by the EU in 2018.

“I have worked in the project management of building finishes past construction stage to final completion, with special focus on energy related building performance, quality of building finishes, detailing of finishes and sustainable material,” he explains.

Mr Spiteri Staines has 22 years’ experience in business development in technology related sectors, ranging from infrastructure projects to GPS surveying and GIS systems.
