Corinthia Hotels has announced the development of an ultra-luxury hotel and branded residential project on Grace Bay in Turks and Caicos, in partnership with Carolina Partners Ltd.

The project marks a further step in Corinthia’s international growth strategy, which includes third-party management, strategic acquisitions, partnerships and new developments.

Located on what is described as the last remaining undeveloped beachfront parcel on Grace Bay, the project was originated by Corinthia Real Estate Ventures and will comprise a 50-key, all-suite ultra-luxury Corinthia-branded hotel alongside an exclusive collection of branded residences, including beachfront villas.

The resort will feature an extensive range of amenities, including a spa and wellness centre, multiple swimming pools, a beach club, restaurants, retail outlets, padel courts and other lifestyle facilities.

The development has been designed to maximise its prime beachfront setting while integrating architecture, landscaping and the surrounding natural environment. Its architectural concept draws inspiration from the waters of the Caicos Banks, with an emphasis on understated luxury and a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living.

The project is currently progressing through the planning process, with construction anticipated to commence in 2027.

The move comes as other major international hotel groups expand their presence in Turks and Caicos. Hilton has announced two luxury developments in the destination, including a Waldorf Astoria, while Kempinski is also developing a luxury resort and residential project on Grace Bay Beach, with construction already underway. Earlier this year, Anantara also announced that it would be investing in the overseas territory.

The development represents Corinthia Real Estate Ventures’ first project in North America and will further expand Corinthia’s international portfolio of luxury hotels, resorts and branded residences.
