Founded in 1962, Favell Wines and Spirits is a business that Guido Vella and his brothers had embarked upon together. After a few years, they all went their separate ways and Guido continued with the business himself.

Today, 60 years later, the company has grown to be a top bottle shop and wholesaler on the island. Apart from the wholesale side of the business, Guido Vella has also gone retail with its own convenience shop called Guido Vella Cash and Carry.

The business is now being run by three generations: Guido Vella himself, his son and daughters and his grandchildren.
