Established in 1977, Elektra used to be a small retail outlet on the main road of Pieta.

From the very beginning, the outlet established a stellar reputation as a reliable source for all things electrical – providing some of the most cutting-edge products in the market.

Business flourished and larger commercial premises were required. In 1982, Elektra relocated to purpose-built large premises in Mill Street, Qormi, incorporating showrooms, offices and stores.

By 1991, Elektra had again outgrown its space and acquired an adjoining property, a total restructuring of the premises was undertaken having 2,000sq.m floor space housing the company’s head office, sales outlet, R&D, and warehouses.

In 2016, further extensions to the warehouse were acquired, providing a larger stock inventory.
