Andrea Saliba, who first started out at Hero Gaming as an HR Business Partner, on Wednesday (yesterday) announced his promotion to the role of Head of Talent & Organisational Development with the company.

Having climbed through the ranks within the company since May 2018, Mr Saliba also occupied the post of People and Culture Manager between April 2020 and August 2021.

Relatively young, he has enjoyed a varied career, from teaching English as a foreign language, working for Malta’s national airline, to working as a recruitment specialist with Malta-based Konnekt, for a period of three years.

Hero Gaming, with offices in Malta and Sweden, was founded in 2013 by Georg Westin, who was at the forefront of offering gamified casinos, a unique experience that players had not previously seen.

Casino Heroes was launched in 2014 with an initial focus on the Scandinavian countries, which was followed by the launch of the gamified sportsbook Betser in 2016.

The company’s multi-brand strategy grew to include two new brands in 2018: Speedy Casino and Speedy Bet. This was a fantastic year in Hero Gaming’s journey, where its passion for innovation and speed to market reaped great benefits for the business.
