Amit Rawat on Thursday announced that he has left InterContinental Malta and Holiday Express, after almost two years as Cluster Digital Marketing Manager.
He remarked that following a couple of “priceless and memorable years” at what he described as his “hotel school”, he bids farewell to the two hotels to embark on a “new journey”.
“Working at InterContinental Malta showed me a dynamic, yet challenging side of hospitality sales and marketing, which is a different ball game altogether,” he said.
“I am proud to have been part of the talented and highly knowledgeable teams at InterContinental Malta and Holiday Inn Express Malta. I am obliged to have known a lot of them. Thank you everyone,” Mr Rawat said.
While he did not reveal what his next venture entails, Mr Rawat said that he is “super excited about the future”.
He concluded by making reference to a quote from German philosopher, Meister Eckhart, saying “we all must learn to trust the magic of the new beginnings”.
Mr Rawat first joined the two hotels in 2021, bringing a wealth of experience in both India and Malta, including in TV journalism, digital storytelling, and client management, as well as in digital marketing. His background includes experiences as Senior Digital Marketing Executive at ANCHOVY, and also at Marketlink Ltd. He holds a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from Digital Marketing Institute and a Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
