Ilona Busuttil on Friday announced that she has left hospitality company AX Hotels after more than four years as Assistant Head of Sales.
“They say all good things come to an end, but all ends lead to new beginnings,” she said.
“Losing my beloved dog back in September marked the end of an era for me, and today [Friday] is time for me to close my beautiful chapter at AX Hotels,” Ms Busuttil explained.
She proceeded to thank the teams at AX The Palace, AX The Victoria Hotel, Rosselli, and AX The Saint John, remarking that it was a “real honour” to work with them.
“I cannot thank everybody enough for their continuous flow of love, support, dedication, and excellence. To all my colleagues, you truly are the best! I am leaving a big piece of my heart with you all,” Ms Busuttil added.
She also expressed gratitude towards the company’s clients and suppliers for their trust in her throughout the years, as “building our strong relationship has been a real pleasure and one I will cherish for years to come”.
As she wished everyone a Merry Christmas and blessings for the New Year, Ms Busuttil also said that she is “very much looking forward to the new journey” at the start of the year, and to also “see everyone once again”.
Ms Busuttil describes herself as an experienced Sales Manager with a “demonstrated history of working in the hospitality industry”, as she also worked as Senior Sales Manager – MICE and Group Corporate Sales Manager at Island Hotels Group. She also served as Assistant Front Office Manager at Radisson Blu Resort & Spa for almost two years, and also worked in various receptionist roles at a number of other local hotels and establishments.
