Book and magazine retailer Agenda Bookshop has arrived in Gozo with the launch of a new store at the refurbished Arkadia Commerical Centre, it announced on Monday.

“We’ve heard your pleas and ferried to the rescue. It took us a while to get there, but good things come to those who wait,” it said.

Agenda Bookshop added that it will provide the “same excellent service, as is customary” at all of its outlets.

The store, which offers a range of books, stationery, snacks, greeting cards, and gifts, is open every day from 9am till 7pm.

Agenda Bookshop forms part of a number of stores that opened their doors at the revamped Arkadia Commercial Centre’s ground level on Saturday, including National Lottery, The Body Shop, Piazza Italia, and McDonalds, among others. The shopping mall closed its doors earlier this year to undergo renovation.

This reopening represents a “much awaited day and a stepping stone towards Arkadia’s new era”, the commercial centre shared on social media.

“Hope to see you there to enjoy the beginning of a new and exciting time for Arkadia,” it continued.

With a number of outlets spread across Malta, namely at Malta International Airport and Valletta, Agenda Bookshop has established itself as one of the leading bookstores in the country, offering a range of local and international titles. It is managed and run by family-owned Miller Group, which is involved in importation and retail across a variety of sectors.
