A rural estate in Siġġiewi featuring a 400-year-old chapel and expansive surrounding land is currently being marketed for €17.5 million.
The property, described as a “unique and hard to find” site, is located near Is-Salib Tal-Għolja and spans approximately 14 tumoli of land. It includes an original farmhouse as well as a historic chapel believed to date back around four centuries.
The listing is being handled by Ruggier Properties Ltd, which has advertised the property as offering “360-degree breathtaking views” across the surrounding countryside. While the price is not publicly listed, the agency confirmed that the current asking price stands at €17.5 million.
The estate appears to have been on the market for years, with earlier listings dating back to 2022, so a buyer has yet to be secured despite its distinctive features and scale.
While the €17.5 million asking price places the Siġġiewi estate among the more expensive properties currently on the Maltese market, it does not appear to be the highest. In recent years, a penthouse in Mercury Towers was listed for around €22 million.
