Yachting Malta Ltd has announced that its CEO, Michael Mifsud, has been elected Vice President of the European Sailing Federation (EUROSAF).

In a statement on social media, Yachting Malta congratulated Mr Mifsud, expressing full confidence that he will continue to make a positive impact on the European sailing scene through his leadership and passion for the sport.

Mr Mifsud brings extensive experience to the role, as in addition to his position as CEO, he is also President of the Malta Sailing Federation, a position he has held for over six years.

Mr Mifsud’s election coincides with a historic moment for the organisation: The election of Pinar Coskuner Genç as President of EUROSAF, the first woman to ever hold the role.

EUROSAF aims to promote sailing across Europe. It develops and coordinates projects and events that place sailors at the heart of its initiatives, and acts as the umbrella organisation for Europe’s national sailing federations. Its mission is to encourage international cooperation and elevate the sport’s profile across the continent.
