In his role as Technical Sales Manager within the Technical & Sales Division of Joseph Cachia & Son Ltd, a member of the M. Demajo Group, Simon Mifsud combines his years of sales experience on a technical level with his in-depth knowledge of the security sector.
“My career spans almost 30 years,” he says. Mr Mifsud. He spent six years working within the wholesale/retail sector as a Sales Assistant with a supplier of electrical components, then moved on to the fire safety and security field as a Technical Sales Executive with a local company, where he spent 25 years.
“Six years ago,” he explains, “I decided to take on a role in the catering sector, firstly as a Sales Executive, then as a Technical Manager. A year ago, I took on a new challenge by entering the cash handling field and joined the Technical & Sales Division of Joseph Cachia & Son Ltd as Technical Sales Manager.”
His primary aim is to increase the company’s product portfolio through the representation of new international brands, thereby further strengthening the offering and providing clients with a complete solution, including the provision of maintenance and support services.
“I believe that new technologies and product diversification enable us to stay ahead of our competition, whilst enabling us to lead the pack in the fields of money (note/coin) handling equipment and queuing systems and any other related products,” Mr Mifsud asserts.
