The Malta Development Association (MDA) has co-opted four new members to its Council: Rhys Buttigieg, Darren Ciantar, Erskine Vella, and Matthew Zammit.

The Council said it unanimously approved their co-option in recognition of their willingness and eagerness to actively contribute to the work of the association ahead of the AGM which is being planned for later this year.

They join an established Council comprising President Michael Stivala, Vice-President Denise Xuereb, Treasurer Alfred Camilleri, Acting Secretary General Pierre Galea, and Council Members Malcolm Mallia, Euchar Vella, and Dana Farrugia.

“Their appointment further strengthens the Association’s leadership team and reflects MDA’s ongoing commitment to ensuring broad representation across the various sectors and professions that form part of Malta’s development industry.”

The newly co-opted council members bring with them valuable industry experience, fresh perspectives, and a strong commitment to the objectives of the association, the MDA said in a statement.

MDA President Michael Stivala welcomed the appointments. “We are pleased to welcome Darren, Matthew, Rhys, and Erskine to the Council. The Council unanimously agreed that their inclusion would be beneficial to the Association and its members. Each of them brings a strong professional background and a genuine willingness to contribute to the work of the Association. We look forward to working together as we continue strengthening the voice of the sector and promoting responsible development.”
