Almost two decades of providing the Cyclops electronic service line calling system to the world’s top tennis tournaments provided Sarah Gauci Carlton with a wealth of experience of working in a demanding environment where excellence is expected every day.

“Operating a small business with a disproportionately high profile, I learnt to be adaptable and calm under pressure while developing a broad range of technical, managerial and leadership skills,” she points out.

Ms Gauci Carlton, who grew up surrounded by boats, joined Creek Developments plc at the end of 2010 as Commercial and Administration Manager, forming part of the management team guiding the company through a smooth privatisation and renovation of the Msida and Ta’ Xbiex Marina.

“Despite full occupancy,” she explains, “the complete refurbishment of the marina was achieved with minimal disruption, transforming it into a world class berthing location, highly sought after by both resident and visiting yacht owners.”

Ms Gauci Carlton was appointed General Manager in October 2020.

“I look forward to further enhancing the marina’s reputation for excellence,” she asserts.

Since taking over the management and operations of the marina in 2011, Creek Developments plc has undertaken an extensive programme of renovation with the aim of matching the prime central location with the highest standards of equipment, security and service, all the while maintaining a competitive price structure.

All pontoons are provided with modern access control, high resolution CCTV, safety and first aid equipment and pay-as-you go utility pedestals. Marina staff are on hand to assist 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
