As Head of Technical Solutions at PTL, Robert Camilleri leads a team of IT engineers and technicians in delivering and maintaining tailor-made IT infrastructures for clients.

He joined the company in 2008, starting as a System Administrator and progressed to System/Network Engineering and Project Management over the years before transitioning into the current position.

"In my previous roles as Operations Lead and Senior System Engineer,” he explains, “I have developed strong technical acumen focusing on the design, implementation and documentation of secure, robust and reliable technology solutions. As a Project Manager, I focused on developing project scopes, directing projects and managing expectations, while ensuring a seamless experience for all the parties involved.

“I am now responsible for coordinating technical activities, making sure that these are running efficiently and effectively. Interacting with colleagues and clients, I work towards bridging the gaps between the technical, business and human domains of day-to-day operations.”

With a Master's degree in Business Administration and two bachelor degrees, one in Information Technology and another in the Theory of Classical Music, Mr Camilleri possesses a solid educational foundation but he also has a passion for furthering his knowledge and skills.

Through his academic background in business, technology, and the arts, and the technical expertise and professional experiences accumulated throughout the years, he has gained a broad perspective on business and a command of an arsenal of skills required to lead the team in a fast-paced industry.

“My main objective is to continue building upon and developing a highly productive team of individuals, each with a diverse but collectively complementary mix of technical skills, while fostering long-term growth and commitment to PTL's clients and the team's success,” Mr Camilleri asserts.
