Renaldo Arciola is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fonicom, a leading IT systems integrator and managed systems solution provider with a presence in Malta, India and The Netherlands.

He is technology executive with over 20 years of experience in enterprise ICT infrastructure, cloud enablement, data-centre, telecommunications, AI, ML and automation technologies.

“I have acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience through numerous engagements leading large scale cross-border technology projects for global enterprises, including Fortune 500 companies in the telco, finance, banking, software development, aviation and government industries,” he explains.

Mr Arciola has been responsible for building several global networks, mission-critical compute environments, HPC, large scale data-centre migrations, data-centre automations and private, hybrid and public cloud environments, among others.

“My passion for technology and anything connected,” he says, “dates back to a young age when I built one of the very first dial-up bulletin board systems in Malta and among the first in Europe at the age of 12, from the ground up, out of a bedroom, in the pre-internet era.”

His areas of interest in technology range from hyper-scale application delivery, ML and AI technologies, containerisation, large scale distributed storage systems, IoT to industrial automation.

Mr Arciola is also a Co-Founder of Raiseaticket, a cloud-based SaaS helpdesk solution trusted by thousands of entities around the world, and a member of the Forbes Technology Council since 2022.
