The funeral of Jan Pace, the 36-year-old hairdresser whose passing earlier this week sent shockwaves through the local community, will be held on Friday, 18th July at 9:30am at the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Naxxar.

Mr Pace, the beloved son of renowned hairstylist Chris of La Différence and his wife Christine, was found dead on 13th July, after being reported missing earlier in the week.

His untimely death has been met with an outpouring of grief from family, friends, and the wider public.

In a tribute shared on social media, the family said he will be “deeply loved and cherished by his aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, friends, and clients.”

The Pace family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Crisis Resolution Malta, in honour of his memory and the support such organisations provide to those in need.

The family also expressed their sincere gratitude to the Malta Police Force, the Civil Protection Department, K-9 Urban Search & Rescue Malta, and all volunteers involved in the extensive search effort launched after Jan was reported missing. He was found deceased on Sunday afternoon at a private property in Triq il-Marina, Tal-Pietà, following a police appeal for public assistance.
