In the years he spent with PricewaterhouseCoopers, including seven in Milan, Matthew Ellul Sullivan was exposed to several large international organisations. Working in close proximity with their management on a variety of different engagements, he learned how such organisations manage their operational procedures and communication flows and how these converge to address business risks and objectives.
“Moving into a managerial role within a family run shipping agency and logistics company, and looking beyond the finance function, I have learnt that there is a need to balance robust systems and procedures with strong interpersonal relationships and sound business values.
