A Certified Public Accountant and Registered Auditor, Kris Bartolo specialises in assurance services and international financial reporting standards.

He graduated from the University of Malta after completing the Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) Degree. Following four years as an Audit Senior at a medium-sized audit and accountancy firm, he joined Zampa Debattista, managing the audit function.

“Throughout my work experience,” he says, “I have been exposed to assurance assignments on wealth management, pension funds, gaming companies, shipping, manufacturing and retail.

“I served within the firm’s senior management structures for the past years and, this year, I was appointed as a Partner at Zampa Debattista.”

Mr Bartolo read for the Diploma in International Financial Reporting and is a member of the Malta Institute of Accountants’ Young Members Group. He is a visiting lecturer of audit and assurance and financial reporting within various educational bodies in Malta.
