Joseph Camilleri joined Farsons in April 2023 as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

“My work experience is both operational and human resources related, having initially spent 18 years in operations management at Baxter, in Marsa. During this period, I gained operational experience in medical device manufacturing, facilities engineering, EH&S and warehouse operations,” he explains.

While at Baxter, Mr Camilleri transitioned to HR management, gaining experience in core HR responsibilities of training and development, employee resourcing, compensation and industrial relations.

After 27 years at Baxter, he moved to Teva, the Bulebel-based pharmaceutical manufacturer as HR Director, gaining more HR experience in another dynamic and evolving international organisation.

A warranted Mechanical Engineer from the University of Malta and a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Mr Camilleri is a practitioner of lean techniques, even within his current HR role.

He has experienced the Kawasaki Production System at the beginning of his career at the Akashi Plant in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan.
