The co-founding Partner of Zampa Debattista, a firm specialising in audit and assurance and financial reporting, John Debattista is one of the audit partners at the firm and also head the IFRS technical function.

“I have lectured at the final stages of the ACCA and at the ACA course for the Institute of Chartered Accountants for England and Wales (ICAEW), namely the Corporate Reporting paper. I am also a speaker in various audit and accounting seminars delivered by a number of institutes in Malta,” he explains.

Mr Debattista has worked abroad on a number of assignments, mainly related to gaming and financial services.

He is the co-founder of ZD Academy and 230 Works.

Zampa Debattista was founded in 2014 and grew to become a 360-degree business advisory also covering areas such as direct taxation and assurance. In 2019, it launched ZD Academy, an innovative platform offering highly technical courses for accountants and auditors.
