Initially a Process Engineer at Carlo Gavazzi, Jesmond Desira was later appointed Operations Assistant Manager, coordinating the production floor.

“In 2011, I joined Adpro-Instruments as Production Manager, focusing on lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, moving to the German mother company, UWT, in 2015, implementing and improving process layouts.

“In 2017, I was appointed General Manager of Adpro-Instruments, focusing on employee involvement and empowerment, resulting in an employee-oriented organisation, thus improving performance and attracting new business. Our motto is: employees come first, everything else follows,” he explains. He has since been appointed Managing Director.
