An entrepreneur with a passion for founding and building technology start-ups, the iGaming boom brought Jacob Appel to Malta in 2010.

“Since then,” he says, “I co-founded and acted as Chief Operations Officer for Malta’s first commerce success, ‘Time to Eat’. In 2018, I launched Bolt in Cyprus, which was closely followed by bringing Bolt to Tunisia and acquiring the Malta operation in 2019.”

After launching Bolt Food in January 2020, he sold the Bolt franchise in all three countries and founded tech start-up, Binderr. The web-native solution is designed to enhance corporate governance and make share transfers and corporate changes as quick and easy as wiring money. Binderr fast-tracks administrative processes and optimises corporate services by replacing routine tasks with data-driven automation for a simple more efficient document management process.
